Nexus Web Utilities
Privacy Policy
Nexus Web Utilities is a collection of focused web utilities designed to do useful work with minimal data handling, no login, and no advertising tracking.
Last updated: October 25, 2026What We Collect
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. Most utilities run entirely in your browser and do not send your content to external services unless you explicitly choose to share it.
The hub contact form stores the name, email address, and message you choose to submit so your message can be reviewed and answered.
Basic protective checks may be used to reduce spam and abuse in the contact form. We do not use this information to identify visitors personally.
Browser Storage
Some Nexus tools store content, preferences, recent deletions, or backup data locally in your browser. This data remains on your device unless you remove it through the tool or clear the site's browser storage.
If you install Nexus Web Utilities as an app or use it offline, your browser may keep the site shell and selected client-side tools available on your device. Server-processed tools still require an internet connection.
Sharing
Some tools let you share raw text through your device's native sharing feature. Content is shared only when you select the share option and choose a destination.
Nexus does not automatically send, store, or select a recipient for shared content. The selected application or service handles the content under its own privacy practices.
Visit Counting
We use a private visit counter to understand which pages and utilities are accessed. Counts are stored only as aggregated totals by page and date.
A visit may be counted once per browsing session to help understand basic site usage. This does not identify you personally.
Utility Feedback
Some utilities may ask whether the tool was useful. Feedback is optional and is used only to understand which tools need improvement.
Your selected reaction may be stored in your browser so the utility can continue to show that feedback as submitted.
Basic protective checks may be used to reduce repeated automated feedback. These checks are not used to personally identify visitors.
Uploaded Files
Utilities that need server processing, such as media conversion or media cutting tools, temporarily receive the files you choose to upload. Files are used only to complete the requested operation.
Limited processing details, such as the file name, size, selected options, and job status, may also be stored temporarily to manage the processing queue.
Temporary uploaded and generated files are removed through regular cleanup cycles. Download links are created only so you can retrieve the result of your requested process.
Daily Usage Limits
Some heavier server-side tools use a daily limit to reduce abuse and keep the service available. To apply this limit, Nexus uses a strictly necessary browser cookie containing a random identifier.
This cookie may remain in your browser for up to one year and is used only to manage daily usage limits. It does not contain your name, email, uploaded files, file contents, contact messages, or browsing history.
Technical Error Logs
If a server-side tool fails, Nexus may store limited technical error information to help diagnose and fix the problem. Error logs are used only for maintenance and do not include uploaded files, file contents, or generated output files.
Technical error logs may remain available for maintenance until they are no longer needed.
Hosting and Security
Services used to host, deliver, and protect Nexus may process standard connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, as part of providing and securing the website.
How We Use Data
Data is used only to run the utility you selected, preserve browser-local choices you explicitly make, count aggregated page visits, record optional utility feedback, apply daily usage limits, save technical error logs for maintenance, or review contact messages submitted through the hub form.
We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or build user profiles.
Data Retention
Contact submissions, individual utility feedback, and daily page-count records may be kept for up to six months. Daily usage-limit records and media-processing job details are kept for shorter operational periods.
Regular cleanup cycles remove expired records and may preserve anonymous monthly totals indefinitely. These summaries may include totals by page, utility, processing result, or feedback type, but do not include message content, names, email addresses, uploaded files, file names, browser identifiers, or individual feedback records.
Your Choices
You can remove locally stored content through supported tools or clear Nexus site data from your browser settings. Nexus Data can also export or restore supported browser-local data.
If you need help with a contact message you previously submitted, you can send a new message through the hub contact form.
Security Note
Nexus Web Utilities is built to reduce unnecessary data handling, but no online or browser-based tool can be guaranteed to be risk-free. Only upload files you are comfortable processing in this environment.
